Sienna Fuegonasus is Vermintide 2’s slightly deranged spellcaster. A Wizard of the Bright College, she specializes in fire magic. This allows her to incinerate hordes of Skaven on her own, and switching her career allows the player to utilize her magic in a way that suits their playstyle.

As yet, Sienna’s premium career – available only as a paid DLC – is yet to be announced, but there is still plenty of fun to be had unleashing the Wind of Aqshy on her enemies. Whether you prefer to gleefully blast multiple enemies as a Battle Wizard, send Rat Ogres up in smoke as a Pyromancer, or become a melee firestorm as an Unchained, this guide has everything you need to fully utilize and enjoy Sienna’s unique abilities.

    Components of a Career

    Abilities

Sienna is all about flashy moves, especially each Career’s active Ability. Activated by pressing F, this Ability will unleash the mightiest spell of her current Career. Sienna also has a number of passive Abilities that will alter her playstyle by granting buffs or activating once the conditions are right.

    Talents

Every fifth level, Sienna gains a new Talent slot. The choice of Talent for each slot can be changed at no cost from within the Keep, but they cannot be mixed between tiers (i.e., a Level 15 Talent can’t be used in a Level 5 slot, and vice versa). This allows for plenty of flexibility in designing Sienna’s build or specializing for a particular Mission.

    Weapons

The heroes of Vermintide 2 have access to a wide array of melee and ranged weapons, but their arsenal is limited by their Career choice. Unlike the other heroes, however, Sienna’s weapons list is identical across all of her Careers. She still must meet the correct level requirement to craft certain weapons, but she can equip and use anything she finds in a strongbox immediately.

    What Is Hero Power?

Hero Power can be considered a character’s overall rating, but the exact number has an effect on gameplay. All of Sienna’s attack effects are calculated in part by using her Hero Power, so increasing the number tangibly makes her more powerful. Specifically, a higher Hero Power increases the damage dealt by each attack, as well as the likelihood that it will Stagger or Cleave an enemy.

    Fire Magic 101

Unlike the other heroes, Sienna’s ranged weapons rely on her inborn magical power rather than ammunition. As she attacks, Sienna’s Overcharge meter will fill. This bar is divided into three segments – the higher it goes, the more dangerous it becomes to continue using magic and the slower Sienna moves. If the Overcharge meter ever fills completely, Sienna is consumed in a fiery explosion and will need to be revived – if she survives.

While the Overcharge meter will slowly drain if Sienna refrains from attacking, she can actively release her built-up power by holding the reload button. This causes the Overcharge meter to drain much faster, but the process will cause Sienna to take a small amount of damage every second if the meter is filled past the first segment. This damage is scaled to the amount of Overcharge she has – the more the meter is filled, the more damage she will take while “reloading.”

    Battle Wizard

Sienna’s starting career makes her a master of crowd control. Capable of engulfing large areas in flame, she has little to fear from hordes. Her Fire Walk Ability grants her frightening mobility and leaves a burning trail in her wake, and Tranquility reduces the likelihood that Sienna will blow herself up.

Hit Points Active Ability Cooldown Cooldown Reduction per Hit Enemy Cooldown Reduction per Damage Taken
    100 40 seconds 0.25 seconds 0.5 seconds

    Abilities

    Ability Type Effect
Fire Walk Active Sienna teleports a short distance directly forward. A stream of flames appears stretching from her starting position to her ending position. The flames damage enemies that touch them and remain in play for six seconds.
Tranquility Passive Sienna automatically reduces her Overcharge meter as though the reload button were held down after six seconds without using her magic.
Reckless Haste Passive The higher her Overcharge meter, the faster Sienna’s magical heavy attacks charge. Melee heavy attacks are made by holding and releasing the left mouse button and ranged heavy attacks are charged by holding the right mouse button before firing with the left mouse button. The maximum charge speed bonus granted by Reckless Haste is thirty percent.
Pyromantic Surge Passive The damage of all Sienna’s ranged attacks is increased by ten percent.

    Level 5 Talents

    Talent Effect
Confound Whenever Sienna successfully Staggers an enemy via a melee attack, she gains temporary hit points based on the strength of the Stagger.
Spark Thief Whenever Sienna scores the killing blow on an enemy via a melee attack, she gains temporary hit points based on the maximum health of the slain enemy.
Flame-Fettled Whenever Sienna heals herself with a Healing Draught or Medical Supplies, she also heals nearby allies for twenty percent of their maximum hit points. Additionally, healing herself causes Sienna to remove all accumulated wounds, allowing her to be downed and revived more times before dying.

    Level 10 Talents

    Talent Effect
Volcanic Force When Sienna unleashes a magical attack after allowing it to fully charge, its effects are calculated as though her Hero Power were fifty percent higher.
Famished Flames The damage from Sienna’s attacks is reduced by thirty percent. In exchange, the damage over time dealt to enemies she sets on fire is increased by 150 percent.
Lingering Flames Sienna can no longer cause enemies to suffer multiple stacks of Burning, but any enemies she does set on fire remain so until they die.

    Level 15 Talents

    Talent Effect
Bulwark Whenever Sienna Staggers an enemy, that enemy takes an additional ten percent damage from all melee attacks for five seconds, in addition to the damage bonus from the Stagger. She also gains an additional twenty-percent damage bonus against Staggered enemies and hitting a Staggered enemy Staggers them again. Against enemies affected by multiple stacks of Stagger, Sienna’s damage bonus increases to forty percent.
Smiter The first enemy Sienna hits with each attack is always Staggered. In addition, whenever Sienna hits a Staggered enemy the target receives another stack of Stagger. This Talent increases Sienna’s damage bonus against Staggered enemies by twenty percent, or forty percent if the enemy has multiple simultaneous stacks of Stagger applied.
Enhanced Power This Talent increases Sienna’s Hero Power by 7.5 percent. This translates to a direct increase in her offensive capabilities.

    Level 20 Talents

    Talent Effect
Unusually Calm Tranquility begins to reduce Overcharge after three seconds without using magic, rather than six.
Rechannel While Tranquility is active, the time Sienna needs to charge a ranged attack is reduced by forty percent.
Centred Tranquility reduces the Overcharge meter twice as quickly.

    Level 25 Talents

    Talent Effect
Soot Shield Whenever Sienna lights an enemy on fire, she reduces the damage she takes from enemy attacks by ten percent for five seconds. Soot Shield can stack up to three times for a total damage reduction of thirty percent.
Fires From Ash Once every half-second, Fire Walk gets 1.2 seconds deducted from its cooldown if Sienna kills a Burning enemy.
Immersive Immolation Whenever Sienna hits four or more enemies with a single attack, her attack speed increases by twenty percent for five seconds.

    Level 30 Talents

    Talent Effect
Volans’ Quickening The cooldown of Fire Walk is reduced from 40 seconds to 28 seconds.
Kaboom! Instead of leaving a trail of fire, Fire Walk now causes a large explosion centered on Sienna after she teleports.
Burnout After using Fire Walk, Sienna can use the Ability a second time provided she does so within ten seconds. The second use of Fire Walk cannot trigger a third.

    Weapons

    Weapon Type Crafting Requirement
    Sword Melee Level 1
    Mace Melee Level 2
    Dagger Melee Level 5
    Fire Sword Melee Level 12
Crowbill Melee Back to Ubersreik DLC
Flaming Flail Melee Winds of Magic DLC
    Fireball Staff Ranged Level 1
    Conflagration Staff Ranged Level 4
    Bolt Staff Ranged Level 7
    Beam Staff Ranged Level 8
    Flamestorm Staff Ranged Level 9

    Pyromancer

Upon reaching Level 7, Sienna unlocks the Pyromancer Career. As a Pyromancer she exhibits more discipline, focusing her efforts on quickly eliminating single targets rather than igniting large groups. While she is more than capable of destroying basic enemies in droves, this version of Sienna truly shines in battles against monsters where her frequent critical hits are at their most valuable. Fighting alongside a Huntsman or Witch Hunter Captain can increase Sienna’s prodigious critical hit rate even further.

Hit Points Active Ability Cooldown Cooldown Reduction per Hit Enemy Cooldown Reduction per Damage Taken
    100 60 seconds 0.25 seconds 0.3 seconds

    Abilities

    Ability Type Effect
The Burning Head Active Sienna conjures a flaming skull that flies around the battlefield damaging foes. The Burning Head homes in on enemies, and cannot be controlled once unleashed.
Critical Mass Passive Sienna’s critical hit chance increases with her Overcharge meter, to a maximum possible bonus of thirty percent.
Searing Focus Passive All of Sienna’s ranged attacks deal ten percent more damage.

    Level 5 Talents

    Talent Effect
Spark Smith If Sienna hits multiple enemies with a melee attack, she gains temporary hit points based on the number of enemies struck, up to a maximum of five foes.
Spirit-Binding Whenever Sienna scores the killing blow on an enemy via a melee attack, she gains temporary hit points based on the maximum health of the slain enemy.
Fiery Fortitude Whenever Sienna heals herself with a Healing Draught or Medical Supplies, she also heals nearby allies for twenty percent of their maximum hit points. Additionally, healing herself causes Sienna to remove all accumulated wounds, allowing her to be downed and revived more times before dying.

    Level 10 Talents

    Talent Effect
Ride the Fire Wind Every second, Sienna receives a stack of Fire-Wind. If she has twenty stacks of Fire-Wind, they are removed at a rate of one per second until she has none left, at which point they begin accumulating again. Each stack of Fire-Wind causes the effects of Sienna’s ranged attacks to be calculated as though her Hero Power were one percent higher, for a maximum total bonus of twenty percent.
Martial Study Sienna’s attack speed is increased by five percent.
Spirit-Casting As long as Sienna has more than 80 hit points remaining, her critical hit chance increases by ten percent.

    Level 15 Talents

    Talent Effect
Smiter The first enemy Sienna hits with each attack is always Staggered. In addition, whenever Sienna hits a Staggered enemy the target receives another stack of Stagger. This Talent increases Sienna’s damage bonus against Staggered enemies by twenty percent, or forty percent if the enemy has multiple simultaneous stacks of Stagger applied.
Mainstay This Talent grants Sienna an additional forty-percent damage bonus against Staggered enemies. This bonus is increased to sixty percent against enemies that have multiple stacks of Stagger applied simultaneously. Additionally, hitting a Staggered enemy Staggers them again.
Enhanced Power This Talent increases Sienna’s Hero Power by 7.5 percent. This translates to a direct increase in her offensive capabilities.

    Level 20 Talents

    Talent Effect
Deathly Dissipation After she kills a special enemy, Sienna’s attacks stop filling the Overcharge meter for ten seconds.
On the Precipice As long as her Overcharge meter is filled to the third segment, the effects of her ranged attacks are calculated as though her Hero Power were fifteen percent higher.
One With the Flame The Critical Mass Ability additionally provides a scaling bonus to Sienna’s attack speed, to a maximum increase of ten percent.

    Level 25 Talents

    Talent Effect
Soul Siphon After killing a special or elite enemy, Sienna reduces the damage she takes from enemy attacks by ten percent for ten seconds. Soul Siphon can stack up to three times for a total damage reduction of thirty percent.
The Volans Doctrine Filling the Overcharge meter no longer slows Sienna’s movement.
Fleetflame Whenever Sienna scores a critical hit, her movement speed increases by five percent for five seconds. Fleetflame can stack up to three times for a total increase of fifteen percent.

    Level 30 Talents

    Talent Effect
Exhaust Sienna’s Overcharge meter empties instantly when she casts The Burning Head.
Bonded Flame Sienna gains 35 temporary hit points upon casting The Burning Head.
Blazing Echo If Sienna scores a critical hit with The Burning Head, its cooldown immediately ends.

    Weapons

    Weapon Type Crafting Requirement
    Sword Melee Level 1
    Mace Melee Level 2
    Dagger Melee Level 5
    Fire Sword Melee Level 12
Crowbill Melee Back to Ubersreik DLC
Flaming Flail Melee Winds of Magic DLC

    Conflagration Staff Ranged Level 4
    Bolt Staff Ranged Level 7
    Beam Staff Ranged Level 8
    Flamestorm Staff Ranged Level 9

    Unchained

Once she reaches Level 12, Sienna gains the ability to drastically change her approach to combat. Unlike the range-oriented Battle Wizard and the Pyromancer, the Unchained brings the heat in melee. This Career is a dangerous path to tread, as the Overcharge meter fills faster and falls slower. Of course, if Sienna has reliable allies (and maybe the Burn-Bloom Talent to remove the inevitable wounds) she can strategically detonate herself by letting herself Overcharge completely then waiting for a revive.

Hit Points Active Ability Cooldown Cooldown Reduction per Hit Enemy Cooldown Reduction per Damage Taken
    150 120 seconds 0.25 seconds 0.5 seconds

    Abilities

    Ability Type Effect
Living Bomb Active Sienna unleashes an explosion as if she had maxed out her Overcharge meter. This empties her Overcharge but does not down her as a normal explosion would.
Blood Magic Passive Taking damage increases Sienna’s Overcharge meter.
Slave to Aqshy Passive Overcharge no longer slows Sienna’s movement.
Unstable Strength Passive The effects of Sienna’s melee attacks are calculated as though her Hero Power were up to sixty percent higher, proportional to her current Overcharge – the higher the meter, the greater the bonus.

    Level 5 Talents

    Talent Effect
Soul Quench Whenever Sienna successfully Staggers an enemy via a melee attack, she gains temporary hit points based on the strength of the Stagger.
Reckless Rampage If Sienna hits multiple enemies with a melee attack, she gains temporary hit points based on the number of enemies struck, up to a maximum of five foes.
Burn-Bloom Whenever Sienna heals herself with a Healing Draught or Medical Supplies, she also heals nearby allies for twenty percent of their maximum hit points. Additionally, healing herself causes Sienna to remove all accumulated wounds, allowing her to be downed and revived more times before dying.

    Level 10 Talents

    Talent Effect
Frenzied Flame As long as Sienna’s Overcharge meter is in its third segment, her attack speed is increased by fifteen percent.
Outburst Making a heavy melee attack makes Sienna’s next push seventy percent wider, allowing it to hit more enemies. Additionally, whenever Sienna pushes an enemy the pushed enemy is set on fire.
Chain Reaction Enemies who are on fire have a forty percent chance of exploding when they die, causing damage to other nearby enemies.

Dissipate Successfully blocking an attack reduces Sienna’s Overcharge meter. Additionally, if the Overcharge meter is in the second or third segment Sienna expends only half the normal Stamina when blocking.
Conduit Holding the reload button causes the Overcharge meter to drain thirty percent faster. Additionally, the damage Sienna takes from actively draining her Overcharge is halved.
Numb To Pain After Sienna finishes “reloading,” the damage she takes is reduced by five percent for fifteen seconds. Additionally, the amount of Overcharge she gains from taking damage (due to her Blood Magic Ability) is increased by 16.6 percent. By “reloading” in rapid succession, Sienna can stack this effect up to three times for a fifteen percent reduction in damage taken but nearly a fifty percent increase in Overcharge buildup from said damage.

    Level 25 Talents

    Talent Effect
Enfeebling Flames Enemies that are on fire deal thirty percent less damage to the heroes.
Abandon If Sienna’s Overcharge meter is at all filled, she loses 9 hit points per second but her Living Bomb Ability cools down thirteen times faster.
Natural Talent Sienna’s Overcharge meter fills ten percent more slowly.

    Level 30 Talents

    Talent Effect
Fuel For The Fire When Sienna uses Living Bomb, her Hero Power increases by five percent per enemy hit for fifteen seconds, up to a maximum bonus of twenty-five percent.
Wildfire Living Bomb can Stagger enemies more effectively. Additionally, for ten seconds after using Living Bomb Sienna gains an aura that automatically sets nearby enemies on fire.
Bomb Balm Allies within the radius of Living Bomb’s explosion gain thirty temporary hit points.

    Weapons

    Weapon Type Crafting Requirement
