Tired of being the Knight in Shining Armor in every other RPG out there? Try being the knight that crafts their own shining armor. Final Fantasy 14 offers the opportunity of taking up many crafting jobs, amongst which you will find that of the armorer. If shaping malleable metals until your craft looks thick and seemingly impenetrable sounds like you, then look no further.
Of course, one does not go from crafting frying pans to designing heavy, multilayered gear overnight. This is why we have compiled a complete guide with gear updates and quest grabs to get you from level one to 90, fast.
Leveling To 21: The Garb of War
Get yourself a good amount of Boiled Eggs at the market and make sure you eat them from time to time to receive a three percent EXP bonus.
To become an Armorer, you will need to enroll with the guild receptionist – G’wahnako (X:10, Y:15) and accept the quest called ‘Way of the Armorer‘.

Leveling To 52: Better Plate Than never
If you are short on gil, try selling some of the stuff you crafted to get to level 21. Do not skip the gear update sections, as they will increase your CP bar.

Less walking is more EXP. Make sure you pick up quests that are delivered to NPCs nearby. The above quests deliver to Bango Zango, who is right next to T’mokkri.

Now it is time to teleport and fall into the cold winter of Ishgard. Head to The Pillars, and stock up on the following gear:

Don’t forget to do custom delivery quests each week. The more you deliver to the same NPC, the more your friendship gauge will increase. Now, we won’t tell you to befriend someone just out of interest, but know that your rewards will get better when you become friends with the NPCs you deliver to.
Head to the Umineko Teahouse to meet your new best friend: Keltraeng (X:11.6, Y:9.6), Kugane’s Levemete. With the following 3 quests from him, you will get to level 70.
