MyFaction Mode (Tips, Tricks, & Beginner Strategies)

MyFaction returns to WWE 2K23 with additional content after a popular debut in last year’s game, but it can be daunting for new players. The mode follows the tried and tested pattern seen in the NBA 2K series and FIFA’s Ultimate Team as players collect cards of Superstars trying to build the best Faction possible. For the first time, players can now play online with friends in WWE 2K23′s My Faction via the quick play option.

Players can acquire cards in MyFaction in a number of ways, from completing objectives in matches, to grinding out lifetime challenges in the ring, or by opening packs. While there are not as many possible cards as in other sports games, players will be looking to collect every one available in MyFaction. Most Superstars have a number of different versions ranging from Bronze all the way up to Pink Diamonds, the best cards in WWE 2K23. The cards for new players to watch out for are Evolution cards whose rating will increase upon completing objectives increasing their value in WWE 2K23.

Spending Currency in MyFaction

MyFaction has three currencies, Tokens, MyFaction Points, and Virtual Currency. The latter are bought by players with real money in WWE 2K23, but this should be avoided. While players can obtain Superstars quicker by using real money, everything can also be bought with MyFaction Points.

Players new to the mode will be tempted to spend all of their points early in WWE 2K23 to get a good starting faction but MyFaction Points, and any Virtual Currency, should be kept until the best cards are released. The best currency to spend early in the game is Tokens which can be redeemed for specific Superstars giving players a choice of whom to add to a Faction.

Currently, only the most basic versions of Superstars are available with the higher-rated cards set to be unveiled throughout the year.

There are lots of ways players can receive free cards such as by using locker room codes in WWE 2K23 in MyFaction to add superstars. New codes will continue to appear throughout the year with four available at the launch of the game.

These cards will increase in strength and rarity throughout the year so players should keep checking online to see if new codes become available. Alongside this, players can receive daily login bonuses for simply entering MyFaction as well as earning more free Superstars by raising their collector level.

The best way to earn MyFaction Points is by playing more matches across the five different modes, with points being earned every time a player steps foot in the ring. All the modes have different rewards which can be useful, but Faction Wars is the best early on in WWE 2K23 for beginners. Faction Wars sees players take on the AI in 4v4 tag team matches, which can make quick victories tricky.

Any tag team matches in WWE 2K23 have the added complication that AI opponents or teammates will enter the ring to break up pinfalls often leading to long matches. The best way to combat this is to go for the win by submission or by knocking the AI tag team partners off the apron before covering the legal wrestler.

MyFaction mode can be daunting for new players in WWE 2K23 with lots of different modes and ways to spend in-game currency. There are endless possibilities for players to earn points which in turn can unlock more cards and Superstars to use in the squared circle. New wrestlers can also be unlocked in WWE 2K23 in other modes across the game. Players can gain the upper hand in MyFaction by taking advantage of all the free cards on offer and focusing on Faction Wars early in the WWE 2K23 calendar.
